Ataxa is applied to the skin of dogs to provide protection against parasites. It protects dogs from external parasites such as ticks, mosquitoes, lice, and biting flies. Composition: Imidacloprid and Permethrin Indications for Use: Elimination of larvae, ticks, lice, and biting insects Protection against mosquito and blood-sucking fly bites Prevention of diseases transmitted by parasites, such as piroplasmosis and leishmaniasis Dosage and Form: The product is released in pipettes for different weight categories: Up to 4 kg: 0.4 ml 4–10 kg: 1.0 ml 10–25 kg: 2.5 ml 25–40 kg: 4.0 ml Apply once a month directly to the skin (usually at the base of the neck), on dry and unbroken skin. Contraindications and Warnings: Not for use in dogs younger than 7 weeks or weighing less than 1.5 kg Do not use in case of individual hypersensitivity to components Not to be used on sick or recovering animals Forbidden for use on cats or other animal species.
